This sculpted heart is a reminder to take it one day at a time.
I see beauty in the weathered and the worn. From washed-out shells, mossy branches, peeling paint, to frayed edges, these textures represent the layers of a story told over time, a tribute to the wisdom found in patience and the elegance of decay.
At the heart of my work is an ongoing exploration of the balance of destruction and growth. Through anguish grows joy and gratitude; through mistakes grows confidence and resilience. There is beauty in the treasures of knowledge we gain from life's imperfect moments. My process is a playful adventure of creating and distressing layers of texture.
